Farm Assured Welsh Lamb (FAWL)

What is FAWL?

Farms that belong to the FAWL scheme are inspected for compliance with a set of farm standards to ensure the stock that enters the food chain are reared with due consideration for welfare and husbandry.

The standard covers identification and traceability of stock farm management, environmental management the use of animal feeds, housing and handling facilities, medicines and veterinary treatments, bio security and farm transport.

All of us in the group are members of this scheme.
